Die drei Häuser gehören zur erhaltenen denkmalgeschützten Gebäudestruktur des ehemaligen Reichsbahnausbesserungswerkes Ost (ab 1967: „Franz Stenzer“). Die ursprüngliche Gebäudestruktur wurde durch eine Verschränkung von künstlerischen, kulturellen und sozialen Angeboten für Nutzer*innen und Anwohner*innen resozialisiert.
